Officials at Wigan and Leigh College (W&LC) are celebrating recent survey results that show their students are among the most satisfied in the country.
Some 90 per cent of pupils at the institution said they are happy with the provision of education at the establishment.
In fact, these results show that students at W&LC are just one per cent behind people reading degrees at Oxford in terms of their happiness and this will likely boost intake at the Greater Manchester college for 2014.
Amanda Broughton, assistant principal at W&LC, commented on the findings: “This is a fantastic score for the college, as it really reinforces all the hard work being done to provide our students with an experience that enables them all to gain the skills needed for the future.”
Ms Broughton added that a £12.3 million tranche of investments in facilities has clearly paid off, before stating that there are still places available for this year.
